• Renters must be 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license/photo ID.
• Anyone Born on or after January 1, 1988 must have:
  • A Temporary Boating Certificate from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission:

• The Renter Must Sign a Rental Agreement Contract (Online or In-Person)
• All Passengers Must Sign a Passenger Waiver; any Passenger under the age of 18 years old, must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian. (Not just an Adult, Waivers can be signed Online or In-person)
• Full Payment is Required at the time of Reservation.
• Renters must Stay within the defined *RENTAL AREA*
• RENTERS MUST PROVIDE A VALID PHONE NUMBER THAT CAN BE REACHED WHILE OUT ON THE WATER!

3. A Major Credit Card, with funds of at least $1,000.00 available.

You get full use of the vessel you have rented.

All safety equipment is included. Ask an Associate about Safety equipment when you arrive and board the boat!

All Rental Boats will have a full tank of fuel when you arrive. You will pay for the fuel you use at the end of your rental.

However, we suggest brining your own Life Jacket/PDF that your child is used to.

We do provide Life Jackets for children under 90 lbs. All Adult Life Jackets (90lbs. and over) are already on the rental boat. There are 3 weight classes for children’s life jackets, Infant 0-30lbs., Toddlers 30-50 lbs., and Children 50-90 lbs.

Florida State Law requires that children under 6 years of age are required to wear a Life Jacket/PDF at all times while the boat is underway.

~ “Underway” Means anytime except when the vessel is anchored, moored, docked, or aground. ~

We suggest making a reservation either online, over the phone, or In-Person stop by Today. We Are Happy to Help with your Next on the Water Adventure!

For Same Day reservations; we recommend, booking at least 1 hour before you want to go out on the boat.

Weekends are very busy so booking in advance will typically insure that you have a boat available when you want it.

Carefree Boat Club & Anchorage Boat Rental Associates go to lunch from 12p.m.-1p.m.

Our Rental Area encompasses the majority of the Space Coast and is home to a diverse marine ecosystem. As you Navigate the Indian River, Intercostal Waterway, and Banana River. You can expect to see Stunning sights and wildlife that include; Dolphins, Pelicans, Manatees, Osprey, & More.

This area is great for your next on the water Adventure; cruising, *tubing, swimming, exploring islands, there are few things you can’t do when you rent a boat with us!

• Grills Riverside, Frigates, Squid Lips, Marker 99, Cocoa Village, Captain Hiram’s, Captain Butchers, & The Old Fish House.

ROCKET LAUNCHES

• On the Space Coast there is always a chance to see a Rocket Launch. Seeing it by water is a next level experience!

We Recommend Bringing:

• Sunscreen, Beach Towels, Hats, Sunglasses, Shoes (Flip Flops), Snacks/Lunch, a cooler with refreshments, and be prepared to have a blast.

• • NORTH BOUNDARY: The 528 Bridge in COCOA / The Barge Canal
  • SOUTH BOUNDARY: The 510 Bridge in Wabasso / Captain Hiram’s
  • WE DO NOT allow boats to Navigate the locks and enter Port Canaveral
  • WE DO NOT allow Boats to Navigate the Sebastian Inlet

• If the weather is bad the day of your rental, you will not lose your money. We can Reschedule your rental, we can give you a gift card, or we can give you a full refund.
• Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne & Anchorage Boat Rentals does not rely on Weather Forecasting, if the weather is clear at the time of your rental, we will not issue a refund. However, we can reschedule your rental for a different day.
• If the weather turns bad after you have left the dock:
  • If you get at least half of your rental time, Anchorage Boat Rentals will not issue a Full or Partial Refund.
  • If you do not get at least half of your rental time; Anchorage Boat Rentals will issue a gift card for the remaining time of your rental.
  • It is the Renters responsibility to keep an Eye on the Weather
  • Afternoon Showers & Thunderstorms are common for this area. Safety is Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne & Anchorage Boat Rentals utmost concern for Renters & Passengers. If you can safely navigate back to the Marina this is the best outcome for bad weather. However, if the weather is too dangerous (I.E. LIGHTNING), find a place to dock the boat and get out of the weather. CALL: (321) 425-2500 and we will help find a solution for bad weather.

WE DO NOT OFFER RENTAL INSURANCE! THE PERSON WHO RENTS THE BOAT (THE RENTER) IS RESPONSIBLE FINANCIALLY FOR ALL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THEIR NEGLIGIENCE.

Safety is Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne and Anchorage Boat Rentals #1 Priority.

Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne requires that all members acquire their Florida Boating License & complete on water training before taking any boat out by themselves.

Anchorage Boat Rentals requires that Renters have either their Florida Boating License (Equivalent to.) or the Florida State Approved Rental Course

Rental Area Fine: If a Renter Navigates outside of the defined “Rental Area” there will be a $50.00 Charge Added at the end of Rental.

Late fee: For Every 15 Minutes Past the end of a Rental or 4p.m. (Hours of Operation) there will be a $50.00 Charge Added at the end of Rental.

Rescue Fee: If Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne or Anchorage Boat Rentals has to come get the Renter & Passengers; There is a $100.00/Per Hour Charge, as well as, an additional Fuel Expense for the Rescue Boat added at the end of Rental.

Grounding Fee: If the Rental Boat is run aground there is a $100.00 Charge Added at the end of Rental.

Failure to Answer: If an Associate attempts to Call or Text a Renter with no response before the end of a Rental or Hours of Operation. There will be a $20.00 Charge Added at the end of Rental.

Prop Replacement Mitigation Cost: For $35.00 Anchorage Boat Rentals will hold the Renter Harmless for any Damage to the Prop incurred during the rental.

1. Anchorage Boat Rentals has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or change your reservation more than 48-hours prior to your reservation you will not be penalized.
2. Holiday Cancellations: If you have made a reservation on one of the designated Holidays or Holiday Weekends, this is a Non-Refundable Purchase. Anchorage Boat Rentals will reschedule your rental or issue a gift card for a full or half day rental on a situational basis.
3. If you are 45 Minutes Past the Time of your reservation this becomes a NO SHOW. Anchorage Boat Rentals may cancel your reservation with no refund. *Unless otherwise specified by the Renter & Anchorage Boat Rentals
4. It never hurts to ask: Yes, we do issue refunds on a situational basis. NO, it does not apply across all situations all the time.

We are open 7 days a week 9:00a.m.- 4p.m.

• Carefree Boat Club of Melbourne & Anchorage Boat Rentals Associates take lunch from 12p.m. – 1p.m.
• Boats Should be returned no later than 4:00p.m.
